A: Franz, yes, it is perfectly safe to fire 38 special in this also. Any 357 Magnum revolver or lever action can shoot both 357 Magnum and 38 special. Hope this helps.

A: Victor, try this. Instead of pushing a cartridge fully into the magazine and allowing the loading gate to close, leave the cartridge hanging out of the gate and finish pushing it in with the next round, which you also leave hanging out. Continue this way until the last round, which you then push fully into the magazine and allow the gate to close. It should get easier to load over time. Also Rossi 92's tend to be a bit oversprung. They can stand a coil or two being taken off of the magazine tube spring. Good luck, stay safe, & have a great day!
