I purchased this rifle...
I purchased this rifle along with its 22 LR counterpart. Unfortunately it was not as smooth as the 22 LR and it had some feeding issues right out of the box. I suspect this is just a break in issue. The good is contrary to the initial reviews of the Uberti 22 Magnum Silverboy which was noted to shoot way above point of aim with the first models that came out; my rifle was pretty much right on at 25, 50, and 75 feet. Hopefully the rifle rifle will smooth out as it is shot more often. For the money the finish is excellent.

I got this rifle &...
I got this rifle & noticed that the fit was not good as the stock & fore grip are both oversized where wood meets steel. If one spends the necessary time the wood could be carefully sanded down in order to improve the fit. This is a very smooth lever action & it cycles great. I immediately took it to the woods & discovered that even with the rear sight adjusted as low as possible on the ladder adjuster it shot a foot high at 30yds. I sent it to the factory repair shop. It was back in my hands in one week. When I again took it to the woods it was right on. They had replaced the front sight & that made the difference. I have read reviews on other sites & have found that they all shoot high. A good thing would be to include a few front sights of varying height w/each rifle. As for Bud's, I am a big fan. This time however the service was very slow in getting the firearm shipped to my Dealer. Usually they do quite well however.
