Brownells Aluma-hyde...
Brownells Aluma-hyde Coatings aerosol, This coating works on pretty much any metal surfaces with proper preparation. Goes on smooth with minimal effort. Another follow the directions and it works very well. I've used it on a homemade steel gun cart, a converted aluminum camera/shooting tripod, and an aluminum single leg shooting stick. Covers good and doesn't seem to scratch easily. Normal wear is very good and touch up is easy.
