A: Christopher, this model does have Extended Rosewood Grips. It is more wood and does give a more comfortable grip for larger hand individuals. There is significantly more grip control and shooting comfort. Cheers and stay safe!

A: No there isn't any extra steel, it's just the wood grips making it little longer. With it being a little longer it'll give a better grip, making recoil a little easier to manage. Hope this helps.
