Faxon Match Series 18in .308 WIN 5R heavy fluted barrel built from 416-R stainless steel and finished with salt bath nitride treatment inside and out. The 5R button-rifled rifling uses reduced sharp angles to help manage jacket deformation for consistent performance, while the nitride treatment improves corrosion resistance and barrel life. A nickel Teflon coated DPMS LR-308 compatible extension is included, along with a recessed target crown for clean, consistent muzzle performance.
