I purchased this for a Remington 870 tactical with the 6 shell 1 piece solid magazine tube, if the item I received was the item pictured this would have fit.... well it's not. The one I received had the barrel clamp ring about half way down the barrel so it only fits shotguns with the 4shell express/wing master style tube. Just to be clear you can make an adaptor to get this barrel to fit, on to the good parts. The fit and finishing of this barrel are excellent and the purpose that I purchased it for was to build a scattergun. Compared to my improved cylinder bore 20 inch that I took off of the tactical rifle this thing produces a pattern approximately double the size at the same distance. The front preacher is aggressive and sharp giving the gun a nice tacticool look. I am an armature gunsmith so it won't be a problem for me to make this work but I wish the correct item was pictured.
