I bought the Remington...

I bought the Remington Rifled Choke Tube from Buds. Very easy purchase online & quick delivery. I bought it for my new JTS M12AK 12ga that is exclusively imported for Academy Sports & Outdoors. The JTS M12AK 12ga comes only with 1 Modified Choke Tube that's attached to the gun in the box. If U want other choke tubes, the instruction manual states it takes Rem Choke Tubes. So, for shooting slugs, I ordered this one & thru another company on-line, I ordered a Carlson's X-Full Remington Choke tube. Both, the Rifled Choke Tube & the X-Full Remington Choke Tube only fits in the barrel to the point just past the threads of the choke tube & stops dead cold. U can not push either tube in any further to engage the threads. If U own a JTS M12AK 12ga, U can not use either 1 of these choke tubes. They will not fit. I'm sure if U owned a Remington shotgun that excepts these choke tubes, I think they will fit just fine. Im considering sending both choke tubes to a machinist to barely trim the outside of the choke tube from the end of the threads to the flush end of the tube, that would make it fit. I have to rate it a "1" only b/c it dosent fit my particular gun. I'm certain on the required Remington guns, this choke tube will be a "5" & fit as should be.
