The Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II AR-Platform rifle brings the SOCOM SOPMOD II intent to a modern, operator-focused configuration. The RIS II rail interface was developed for SOCOM requirements and designed to support free-floating the M203 grenade launcher without requiring additional parts. This rifle also features the RIS II top-rail cutout to accommodate a standard front sight base on a carbine-length gas system, keeping the front sight solution aligned with the intended setup.
