This is the second...

This is the second Magpul Hunter I've had and it never ceases to amaze me. I got this second one to go on my new Ruger 10/22 with 16.5" threaded barrel. In all honesty, out of the box this gun felt like a "youth" gun, light weight, short LOP etc. However, I added all the shims to the Magpul stock and it now feels like a real gun for a change. To me, this is a must for anyone looking for a solid 10/22 stock with adjustable LOP etc. As usual, Bud's had a great price coupled with very quick shipment.

I Coupled this with a...

I Coupled this with a Youth 16", its a solid piece. I'm using a red dot for this purpose and it's accurate at the short range I'm using it for. I do have a concern about the "pressure point" adjuster and how it relates to long range so I wouldn't recommend for that purpose. I'm one of those people that ALWAYS gets one hole groups from stock 10/22's.

I would recommend this...

I would recommend this stock for anyone wanting to enhance their 10-22. Having the adjustable spacers to lengthen or shorten the length of pull is nice if you have kids or smaller framed folks that would like to be able tk shoot the gun. It was easy to install and really made my 10-22 build everything that I hoped it would be.
