I always wanted this...
I always wanted this stock, but was a little turned off by the price. Thankfully, Bud's Gun Shop sells this about $20 cheaper than everywhere else.\r \r I've only had this stock about a month, but I totally love it. Here's why:\r \r 1. COMFORT. The texture is a very nice rough high quality hard plastic feel. Every time I look through my optic and put my cheek on the cheek rest, I feel like I'm getting in the cockpit of a super nice sports car. I think the comfort alone improves my aim as it is.\r \r 2. DESIGN. I was between this stock and the B5 enhanced sopmod stock. I decided on this one because the the overall design is much more sleek and modern. There are less edges and components and the whole product is much closer to being 1 solid piece. Also, the slanted edge that meets the shoulder is considered to be preferable by most shooters over the straight edge that the B5 offers for example.\r \r 3. WEIGHT. A nice thing this stock offers, which may not be so obvious just by looking at it, is the weight. This is particularly helpful on my carbine AR because my M4 profile barrel is 1.75 pounds. So having a little weight added in back helps not only with the balance, but also reducing the felt recoil. While there are advantages to light stocks, the advantages of heavier stocks like this one should be considered as well.\r \r Other nice features include the storage and the sling point attachment points on each side. As the classic saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Put in decent money for a good stock like this, and I can testify you'll be very happy with your purchase. I'll be keeping this stock on my current AR and probably any other AR I may buy in the future.
