This hand guard was a...
This hand guard was a direct replacement for a shorter I already had installed to cover the gas block. It was a direct replacement for the 9 inch version I already had installed so it went very smoothly and quickly. Having already been familiar with the MWI brand and this particular set up it's a nobrainer I bought the "big brother" version of the hand guard I liked from day one. Great product, don't pass on these! My only hang up was the one I received appeared to have been possibly a return/or fell out of the packing and had scratches/wearing/dings. I know over the course of time I will only add to the scratches etc but if I was into having pristine I would've requested a replacement. But not a problem for me, these bad boys are money!
