ProMag Archangel M1A Precision Stock OD Green

Just received this...

Just received this today and was able to swap out the old stock for the new in a matter of minutes. I did not need to file down the stock at all. Yes, it fits VERY tightly. There is no wiggle at all. Fully solid piece of furniture and I feel very confident that it became part of the full rifle immediately. LOP and Cheek adjustments are solid clicks. Rather tight but that should be okay. Once I have it dialed in to position I don't see a reason to move it at all. Trigger hand position is natural, left hand grip on the fore is comfortable and I feel like I have more control over the front end of the rifle. I certainly held it more steady when just aiming at a target. With the grooves along the front I feel like I will have better control over the barrel rise after each shot. It does add two pounds to the rifle. A hefty beast when dealing with the full size M1A as it is. Mine was in the OD Green which is a perfect match for the OD Green of the handguard on the M1A. Matter of fact it is a closer match in color than the original stock from Springfield. So far I love the look. Not necessarily tactical but very comfortable. Actually makes the M1A look bigger. I haven't yet fired it but based on how it feels I don't expect any issues at all. Will see if it tightens up groups or not. So far everything to love and nothing to hate.
