I waited a few years to provide a long range review. This is the most accurate range tool that I have come across. I can hit targets all day down the line, and I only use the iron sight. I just got very comfortable with it at an outdoor range. In .45 ACP, it's a smooth but beefy projectile, which has been very accurate with me from 20-200 yard outdoor range. I had to build using the lower from Bud's. At the time you could not find a full build ANYWHERE and I do not regret it. It allowed me to get very intimate with the build and become an even bigger fan. I have put all types of ammunition through this thing from the time I completed it. The best and worst steel cased. I also wanted to see how many rounds I could put through it before it failed due to the dirty ammo. It took about a year of monthly range going. Some friends wanting to know what the hype was about shooting targets and anticipating the trigger (which I'll get to) where the ejected case flipped back in the well. The Look: Space aged - awesome, head turner and question getter at any range. The Function: Again, this is a favorite of mine, so much so that I have to get it in another caliber. So you can get just the lower and mix and match the platform! The Trigger pull: the trigger break is awesome and the vector firing system allow for staying on target with less thump to allow for increased accuracy. My wife an Sister both love the feel and were very good with it the first time out. If you are on the fence. Get it. You'll be glad you did.
