I'm a big Noveske fan,...
I'm a big Noveske fan, and I have a couple of their receivers already. This was my first matching upper and lower set. Would buy again, but maybe do an inspection before accepting the transfer if you're super concerned with having a safe queen. GOOD STUFF: The receivers are so tight that you have to use two hands pulling them apart like you're trying to rip an alligator's jaws open. This is a good thing as it'll reduce or even eliminate slop between the receivers when operating the weapon. I doubt it actually makes any difference in real life, but it feels super super solid. Also, the cerakoting looks clean and uniform. The FDE Cerakote is pretty close in color to Magpul FDE, so it won't look too crazy Frankenstein's monster if you buy a bunch of FDE. I asked Noveske and they confirmed that they use Cerakote H-265, in case you wanted to make sure you had the right FDE for hand guard and other stuff. Finally, can't beat a Noveske billet receiver for coolness factor. BAD STUFF: This was NOT a blemish model ("Chainsaw", as Noveske brands their blems), but right out of the bubble wrapping there were at least 5 nicks in the finish. Nothing that would make me return it or refuse to accept the transfer, and I don't care too much about that stuff, but it was super not Noveske cool. I am pretty sure this item was drop shipped from Noveske directly (Buds does that), so I really don't know what the excuse is. Not rad.

Be careful ordering this item. The FDE color I got was NOTHING like the item shown. it looks more green than FDE. I accepted so I could not return but if you think its close to the color shown you will be disappointed. The set itself is outstanding quality as you would expect from Noveske. Nothing against Buds they are always good but just be aware.
