Got myself a big-boy...
Got myself a big-boy toy and wanted a set of pearl grips. Got both the white pearl and black pearl, expecting the white to win out. Nope. These black pearl grips are gorgeous, if you like pearl grips that is. I do, but had never seen black pearl before. A set of gold screws to complete the swap, and the old nickel1911 is now something to see. The ONLY issue I had was in fit. I read where others used a Dremel tool to make the grip panels fit, I did it a file. Only took a couple minutes and very minor material removal, now they fit perfectly, and look that wayalso. Very happy with these grips.

Overall I love the way...
Overall I love the way they look on my rock Island. I did have to modify both sides of the safety with my dremmel so they would clear the grips without gouging them but they feel very comfortable and gives it a really awesome look.
