Product Overview
The Magpul Sling Mount Kit Type 2 provides additional mounting locations to support ambidextrous sling configurations using push-button QD sling swivels or Magpul QDM systems. This Type 2 kit is used to add the opposite-side mounting capability on compatible Magpul stocks and is intended for users building out a two-sided sling setup.

Magpul provides great...
Magpul provides great sling mount hardware/accessories. This product is no exception. This is only one of the two sides of the sling mount, though. You will need Type 1 and Type 2 to have mounts on both sides of the stock typically if I remember right.
