The Caldwell E-Max Hearing Pro provides low-profile electronic hearing protection designed for shotgun and action shooters. Two microphones deliver true stereo sound so you can better identify the direction of sounds while the electronics amplify speech and range commands. When sound levels rise above 85 decibels, the microphones quickly interrupt amplification to help protect your hearing. An integrated audio input jack lets you connect music or other audio, and the unit runs on 2 AAA batteries.

Outstanding noise reduction. Very comfortable fit.Sorry for the late review but had other issues to take care of.Just a great headset .Was shooting next to a person with a 12g 20in barrel slug gun indoor range and was Able to shoot with no noise issues. LOUD BUT NOT HURTING MY EARS TO STOP SHOOTING . Just a great headset for hunting and target shooting thank you. VERY HAPPY WITH THEM MITT BUY ANOTHER SET
