ProMag’s AA762R02 Archangel detachable magazine is made for 7.62x54mm Russian Mosin-Nagant pattern rifles fitted with the Archangel OPFOR Series Precision Rifle Stock. This 10-round magazine uses a proprietary feeding system with a molded polymer follower and a chrome-silicon wire spring for dependable feeding and function. The magazine body is molded from carbon-fiber filled black polymer for durable handling.

Because the mosin...
Because the mosin nagant has a controlled feed mechanism built in to the receiver of the weapon, the top round of this magazine is held in with a wire spring and otherwise there are no feed lips. Kinda works most of the time, but this is unfortunately a design specific requirement.
