The mags are high...
The mags are high quality mags that fit perfectly in the Magpul Hunter stock. These are caliber specific 350 Legend mags. Now, the rest of the story. I'm using the mags with a Ruger American rifle. Everything fits fine. HOWEVER, the rounds DO NOT feed without significant modification to the feeding mechanism of the mag. IF you brave it, stay away from Federal Fusion ammo and other large lead style projectiles. The WW 145 FMJ, Hornady 165 FTX, Browning 124 FMJ, and WW 180 rounds seem to work, but not without paying attention to the loading procedure. I hope Magpul or Accurate Mag will make a specific mag just for the rifle/stock combo. Working these mags up takes a massive amount of time, and trial/error testing. Love the mags.
