I picked this up as a...
I picked this up as a lower cost shooting solution to an actual HK. The overall construction is solid as you would expect from a company production firearms on HK tooling. The fit and feel is almost the same as an actual SP89. The firearm breaks down just real deal. Major differences with this firearm is the rear shelf welded in to the receiver to prevent a full auto setup. If you are legally able and need full auto then forget this model. I have been running American Eagle through this and it eats it up fine. The first 15 rounds gave me some issues with FTEs; so I stripped the gun, cleaned, and well lubed it. Since then it has been flawless. If you are not familiar with HK firearms of this quality, you will not have clean casings being spit out of this gun. So if you reload, you will have to clean the casings a little more than with some other firearms. The last thing I would note; spend a little on some authentic magazines for this gun. The cheap aftermarket ones are exactly that, cheap and do not perform that well. Overall, my opinion of this firearm was very good. I give it 4 out of 5 stars; it's a great clone, not perfect, but on the higher end for this price range. Pros: Built on HK tooling Solid construction and feel Shoots extremely well Almost an exact match (finish is a bit more black than my actual SP89, trigger housing is not authentic) Cons: Cocking lever pulls harder than my HK SP89. This might be due to a spring that is not exactly the right length. MKE magazine fits poorly in the magwell. You will have to slap it in hard to get it to lock. My authentic HK mags fit snugly without the force. Sling and cleaning kit are extremely cheap. Case is okay but obviously it's a one size fits all rifle case. Not exactly my cup of tea.
