Product Overview
The Armscor Rock Island Armory Rock Standard 1911 is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around the traditional Series 70-style design. Its five-inch button-rifled barrel is supported by a full-length guide rod, while the skeletonized hammer and trigger provide a refined classic 1911 configuration. An adjustable overtravel stop, ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and low-profile angled rear sight support confident handling and a smooth draw. G10 Desert Storm grips provide a secure, durable interface, and the factory trigger is tuned to a crisp pull of approximately 4 to 6 pounds.

Its Rock Island, it...
Its Rock Island, it works, it shoots, its reliable. Its not a Wilson Combat or a Nighhawk but its surprisingly well built and added features for its price. The colored finish is very cool but has worn off in some spots after very minimal use so beware of that. Seems to feed everything from ball to hollow points. With all 1911s there is a break in period, but much less than some others I've seen, I was getting reliable feeding after about 300ish rounds. If your one the fence about Rock Island, this isnt my first 1911 from them, Ive had about 3, and I can report zero issues with any of them. Id personally take the leap of faith and if you do run into issues their customer service is some of the best out there.

One of the best 1911...
One of the best 1911 out there! I would stack it up against any high dollar 45. Very accurate.

I've put several hundred rounds through this firearm without a single issue. My only complaint is that the cerakote looks more of an OD green color than it does brown like you see in the pic.
