A: You can bring down the hammer, carefully, with a round in the chamber. Make sure the safety is set. Be careful.

A: Caleb, Yes you can drop the hammer with one in the pipe and put the manual safety on.

A: Caleb, yes Sir. Just hold the hammer back with your thumb, pull the trigger then slowly ride the hammer down then release the trigger. Same action as decocking a revolver.
