Neat little gun....
Neat little gun. Shoots ok but not better than the three other semi auto 22's Ive bought at half the price or less. Have about 900 rounds through it and I like the look but its just doesn't impress me with the accuracy compared to my Rugers and Brownings. OK gun and Buds was awesome as usual, but I'm not keeping this gun. Would rather use the money for other things.

I have always liked...
I have always liked the looks of the 87 Target and wanted an accurate 22 but ended up with the least accurate 22 pistol I own. I have tried various match ammo along with standard Winchester, Remington and Federal and have about a 2" group at 10 yards and opens up to 3" at 15 yards. With a S&W 22A I had 1/2" groups at both those yardages. The biggest problem with the gun is Beretta's customer service or lack of. When cleaning the gun the guide rod will launch off because of the poor design and I lost mine. The problem is they will not sell parts and you need to go through a different vendor I will not name. They in turn do not stock most parts even though Beretta has them in stock in the US. Now I am waiting 4 months for the part to be back in stock and no help from Beretta on the missing part or the accuracy issues. No more over priced Beretta products for me.
