The Bersa Llama MicroMax is a compact 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 ACP. Its single-action design combines familiar 1911 controls with a 7+1-round capacity and a 3.75-inch throated forged steel barrel. A true beavertail grip safety, manual thumb safety, lowered and flared ejection port, skeletal combat hammer, and skeletonized trigger provide practical handling and classic styling. The contoured polymer grips help keep the pistol comfortable to carry and control.

It is a good gun....
It is a good gun. Range day results were decent, the gun is accurate, spectacular sight picture with Fiber optic sights, rapid fire worked okay no fail to chamber or eject. Love the 1911 look and the size. The finish is meh, not blued ot parkerized, just black. While Fit is pretty good. Good lock up.. Went home to clean the Llama then came a daunting task. The gun was fine to field strip but the magazine a nightmare. The magazine is what makes this gun miserable, very cheap with a junk follower and zero spring protection. All of that hard work and they take a shortcut like that. The gun took me about 20 min to disassemble and reassemble, the magazine (just 1) took me an hour. I have searched for a replacement with little luck. I debated for days between this or a baby rock island. After owning the Micromax I am alright with keeping it, but if I can I may trade it towards a Browning. Replacement grips for this model do not exist, so another bummer. So to sum it up, good gun, awful magazine, limited to zero upgrades. Buds is the absolute best. E-mail notifications all the way. Thanks.
