The Bersa MAC Classic 1911 is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a durable 4140 steel frame and hammer-forged 4140 steel slide. Its traditional single-action 1911 design pairs an 8+1 single-stack capacity with a five-inch barrel for a balanced shooting platform. A dovetail fiber-optic front sight and Bomar-type adjustable rear sight provide a clear, adjustable sight picture, while the lowered and flared ejection port supports reliable case clearance. Wide front and rear slide serrations improve handling, and custom wood grips with the MAC logo complete the classic configuration.

This gun is an...
This gun is an excellent shooter, nothing wrong there at all. Finish is nice and yes it is a black finish per Buds description, although on Metro Arms website they say it is blued. Well it isn't, it's black. Not a bad finish but do not expect to get a blued gun or you will be disappointed. Grips are a lighter color than what is pictured. They appear to be the grips for the chrome version and really do not match up well with the black finish. Polished flats and matte rounds in a black finish. Front strap checkering and adjustable sights. Not a bad price but you may find a better product from a different manufacturer for the same money.

Purchased in December 2014. Very impressed with fit and finish. The pistol is a joy to shoot. It has a terrific trigger, and is one of the most accurate pistols I own. It is hard for me to believe that their is a better 1911 available at any price!! Metro Arms needs to do a much better job at marketing this pistol. If you are a 1911 enthusiast, you can not go wrong purchasing this pistol.
