The Pantera is a...
The Pantera is a beautiful weapon. (It attracts a crowd at the range.) It is reliable and very accurate. It shoots right to point of aim with both practice and premium ammo. The pistol has been trouble free through the first 750 rounds. I have shot 1911's my whole life and was worried the "Double Stack" grip would be too wide. It isn't! It fits my hand better than the single stack. The checkered front strap provides a great grip. The 2 - 18 round mags fit flush with the magwell and seat solidly. I am extremely glad I bought the Pantera!

Shipping took a little...
Shipping took a little long, but the firearm came as expected and the transaction was smooth overall. The gun was the two-tone 9mm 5" bull barrel SPS Pantera. The moment I recieved it, I swapped the guide rod to a Dawson tool-less guide rod w a 10 lb spring. Also immediately changed the mag release to a Dawson mag release. The internals on these gun are MIM and should hold up fine for a few thousand rounds. Plan to swap all small internal parts (trigger, sear, hammer, sear spring, disconector, and all pins) to Dawson parts or some other billet parts typically used in competition 2011s. Most STI's still need parts massaging, and swapping. So this is a good choice to save some money on the front end if you plan to swap all internals anyway.
