I'd describe this gun...
I'd describe this gun as a fairly typical hammer-fired model—average overall and a bit chunky, but that's really my only criticism. It's proven to be the perfect hiking and camping gun for me and my wife. We live in eastern Idaho and enjoy long hiking trips in the mountains, where carrying a firearm for protection against wildlife is important. However, we're on a budget, so finding something affordable was key. My wife is very particular about her firearms. She doesn't like striker-fired guns or cocked-and-locked hammers when there's one in the chamber. She's also left-handed, so having something ambidextrous was a big plus. This gun checks all those boxes, which is why we chose it. An added bonus for my wife is the included safety lock. She loves the Bersa key lock, which gives her peace of mind when we're out of town (I'm not a fan, but she appreciates it). She's been so happy with this gun that we're already planning to buy a second one when we have the money saved up or when there's a good sale. Ps: it's proven very reliable no malfunction even when sooper filthy and wet.

The good: I love the...
The good: I love the looks of the pistol and the color. The finish looks like it will be quite durable. Take down and reassembly is a breeze. I am also fond of the three dot sights. The bad: The grip is quite large and even though the safety lever is large also it is uncomfortable to reach because of the big grip. I tend to get a little finger pinch because the trigger is really curved and the trigger releases far back which causes my finger to slide to the bottom and get pinched against the trigger guard. The trigger pull leaves a lot to be desired. It feels gritty and quite hard to pull. I've only put a few dozen rounds through the gun so maybe this will free up a little after breakin. I also would like to see a captured spring set up such as is on the taurus gc3. The g3c also has a fantastic trigger pull. We love the other Bersas we have and I like this gun for the most part. This pistol is large and I think it would be uncomfortable in an inside an iwb holster. If you have to carry it in an owb holster I think I would get the full size model with four more rounds in the mag. Time will tell on the trigger. shooting at fifty feet the gun seemed accurate enough. I had a bum shoulder the day I shot it and could not get into a proper stance. Even so I was able to keep all rounds fired inside a five inch circle at fifty feet firing off hand. This is the first firearm that I have ordered from Bud's. It was an easy process but because of the times it took a little while to get here. Would I order from Bud's again? Definately if the price is right.
