Product Overview

The BG Defense TYPE-A SIPR/10.5 is a compact 5.56 NATO AR-pattern pistol designed around the SIPR GEN3 receiver platform. Its 10.5-inch fluted 41V50 vanadium alloy steel barrel uses a 1:7 twist rate and carbine-length direct-impingement gas system, while the 9.8-inch GEN3 M-LOK handguard reduces weight and provides flexible accessory mounting. A Law Tactical folding adapter and SB Tactical A3 pistol brace support convenient transport and handling. The pistol also features an ambidextrous short-throw selector, extended billet magazine release, Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle, QPQ-finished bolt carrier group, and a straight 2-stage trigger with a 3.5-pound pull. Its Tungsten Cerakote finish is applied over Type III hardcoat anodizing for added surface durability. The threaded muzzle accepts the included SilencerCo ASR muzzle brake.
