I've purchased several guns from Buds this year; each one a pleasure to unbox and eventually work out at the range. Now, after all these years I finally received my first Browning. This is the first time I would shell out more than $1,000 for a pistol, and I couldn't wait for it to arrive. Thanks to Buds, it did arrive, on time, yesterday. I had seen a couple of open boxing reviews on You Tube, and expected a nice case with pistol, accessories etc. Wrong... For just over $1,000, I got a gun placed in an old cardboard box protected from rough handling by rolled up paper. Inside the box was a padded holder; pistol and accessories scattered within. Think about it. This is, after all, a Browning .380 Black Label Medallion weapon, which by first impressions could/should be re-named Browning gun in cheap cardboard box... I'll take it to the range for the first workout today, but, based on first impressions, if the gun quality is represented by the quality of the case, I don't expect much. Last Christmas, I paid less than $200 for my wife's Kel Tec P17 which was nicely presented in a protective plastic, organized box and the gun performed flawlessly at the range on the first trial. Only goes to show that you don't always get what you pay for. After all these years desiring a Browning firearm, this is, most likely, my last. I've always lived and taught by my 30-year military service standard to take pride in my/your work. Anything less is a character flaw...

This is a BEAUTIFUL...
This is a BEAUTIFUL pistol. The online photos are good, but this gun in person is a work of art. Since I have several other pistols for EDC, I may just leave this in the safe for an investment. The detail, and quality of workmanship are clearly visible, and the 85% size of a 1911 is perfect. Very happy with this purchase, and of course, BUD'S GUNSHOP had the best price. Thanks Bud!
