I was able to put this 380 on layaway. I don't regret going with it, this is one sweet shooter with very low recoil, when firing it feels so manageable as it comes straight back, not like most others that may pull up and over. I can easily get back on target quickly. Every part of this handgun seems to be easy to use, the slide has less resistance of any I've ever used, the safety is soft when shifting on or off but is also audible and positive, night sights are very bright, the G10 grips are not only nice looking but serve extremely well, it feels as if the gun is packed well in your hand also with the checkering front and rear of the grip, at only 16oz. small in size and width, but for some reason feels solid and very well built, sights are dead on out of the box, so far no issues, I put around 400 rounds through it, win.white box, perfecta and a few liberty civil defense loads, that's what I carry with, they are a 50 grain hollow point, 1500 fps., I use them in my 380's ,. Nothing wrong with that, feels like half the weight in the mag,. I am happy with this purchase, can only imagine how the 4.25 in. Barrell handles, if Buds allows layaway on one would like to get one someday also now that I see how nice these are, would definitely go the extra for the 22cal. for affordable practice, if you want and choose to get either the Browning 380 or 22 cal. in the 1911 style I'm sure you will love either one. This is absolutely one of the nicest handguns I ever fired.
