Browning 1911-380 PRO RL .380 ACP Blue/Black Pistol

I bought this in anticipation my daughter would someday like it for herself. Well, I just fired 100 rounds through this beautiful gem and it performed flawlessly. I read reviews at how pleasant it is to shoot, and I must say this is the case with this Browning 1911.380 pro. It is a pure delight to shoot, very accurate and very low recoil. I would put the recoil between a .22 Buckmark and a 9mm Browning Hi Power, it doesn't enter your mind when firing which enable you to stay on target much easier. This is a real pleasure to shoot, and with todays' powerful .380 self defense loads it is also quite effective at self-defense. A point of interest, the recoil spring rod is made from a polymer of sorts, I just called Browning and asked why and they said it needed to be a little more flexible than steel. I also asked what is the replacement period for this piece and he said 'never', and that they have not been able to test it to the point of failure. I put 200 rounds through it, out of the box after ensuring no obstruction in barrel due to lubricants, etc. and I had ZERO FTF or FTE....in 200 rounds. That is with cheap Winchester target loads. The target market may have been initially women or folks that want a lower recoil sort of firearm, but I can guarantee you grown men will want to carry this quality firearm. If you're on the fence, buy it.
