Caracal has two Recall...
Caracal has two Recall Notice on the Caracal Model C Pistol. The first recall was around October 2012 states " Caracal USA has determined a potential condition of the trigger unit in a very limited number of Caracal F and C pistols that could possibly allow the pistol to fire when dropped onto a hard surface with a round in the chamber." ( I was like ok,I called Caracal told them I'll take a replacement pistol it's now March 19, 2013, I'm still waiting on my replacement). The second recall FEB 27, 2013 states "Caracal International LLC has been informed about an incident in which the slide of a Caracal Model C pistol malfunctioned and broke during firing causing personal injury. Until this investigation is concluded and if you own or have access to a Caracal Model C pistol, PLEASE DO NOT LOAD OR FIRE THE CARACAL MODEL C PISTOL." ( I called Caracal and told them, I'll take the refund). If they can fix the problem, I may give them a try in the future)
