The Citadel Wounded Warrior is a full-size 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP and built around a forged-steel frame and barrel. Its Series 70 firing system, skeletonized hammer and trigger, extended beavertail, and positive grip safety provide the classic 1911 controls and handling characteristics. Novak-style 3-dot sights support a clear sight picture, while the lowered and flared ejection port promotes reliable cycling. Laser-cut wood grips carry the Wounded Warrior Project insignia and Never Forget inscription, complemented by a commemorative slide engraved with patriotic and Purple Heart imagery.

Excellent Gun, I have...
Excellent Gun, I have several 1911s and I bought this one because it was in support of the wounded warrior project and shot it the first day I got it. Put about 20 rds through it. Shoots just fine. No FTL or FTF. I have no intentions of shooting this gun anymore. Gonna put it back in the box and use it as a collectors item. Beautiful gun but I'm not sure wounded warrior is working with gun manufacturers anymore so this may be worth something someday. Who knows?
