The CMMG DISSENT Mk4 is a compact 5.56 NATO bufferless pistol built around CMMG’s Compact Action, eliminating the traditional AR buffer system and replacing it with a 1913 Picatinny rail end cap. Its 14.5-inch barrel is paired with a pinned and welded CMMG ZEROED SVD brake for a 16.1-inch legal configuration, combining carbine-length performance with a compact platform. A reversible, non-reciprocating side charger supports left- or right-side operation, while the direct-impingement system uses an adjustable mid-length gas block. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum Mk4 lower, DISSENT aluminum upper, proprietary handguard, ZEROED drop-in trigger, and ambidextrous 60/90-degree safety provide familiar AR-style controls in a distinctive bufferless design.
