The CMMG MK57 Banshee AR pistol in 5.7x28mm combines compact, SBR-length handling with an AR-style fire control and a Micro/CQB RipBrace. It’s built around a 5-inch 4140CM barrel with a 1:9 twist, an M-Lok handguard for mounting, and a threaded muzzle with a thread protector.

I absolutely LOVE this...
I absolutely LOVE this Banshee 300 MK57. \r \r I already had a FNH-5.7 pistol and this gun uses not only the same ammo, but the same magazines, so the utility is very cool. I have only one knock on the gun and that is with the extended bolt catch release. It sticks-out so far that when you're at the range, and are instructed to bench your weapons so the range can go cold, you are supposed to lay the weapon on its side with the ejection port facing up with an empty chamber indicator in the ejection port. The bolt release will depress if you lay the gun on its left side which will release the bolt and chop your chamber indicator in half! The only alternative is to elevate the muzzle on a sandbag to prevent that bolt catch from contacting the bench/ground. It seems a poorly thought-out design that allows a gun to only be benched on one side and not the other...\r \r That small nit not-withstanding, what a cool weapon!
