The CMMG MK57 BANSHEE is a compact AR-style pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm FN. Its 5-inch 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel features a 1:9 twist and 1/2x28 muzzle threads protected by a thread protector. A billet 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver pairs with a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver, while the CMMG RML4 M-LOK handguard provides a lightweight platform for compatible accessories. The pistol includes a CMMG Micro/CQB RipBrace, five-position enhanced receiver extension, ambidextrous sling plate, oversized ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous safety selector, and single-stage mil-spec style trigger. Finished in Graphite Black Cerakote, it weighs 4 pounds 7 ounces unloaded and measures 19.2 inches with the brace collapsed.

I absolutely LOVE this...
I absolutely LOVE this Banshee 300 MK57. \r \r I already had a FNH-5.7 pistol and this gun uses not only the same ammo, but the same magazines, so the utility is very cool. I have only one knock on the gun and that is with the extended bolt catch release. It sticks-out so far that when you're at the range, and are instructed to bench your weapons so the range can go cold, you are supposed to lay the weapon on its side with the ejection port facing up with an empty chamber indicator in the ejection port. The bolt release will depress if you lay the gun on its left side which will release the bolt and chop your chamber indicator in half! The only alternative is to elevate the muzzle on a sandbag to prevent that bolt catch from contacting the bench/ground. It seems a poorly thought-out design that allows a gun to only be benched on one side and not the other...\r \r That small nit not-withstanding, what a cool weapon!
