I purchased two of...
I purchased two of these and the picture was not updated and was incorrect. I was slightly disappointed. Patrick at Buds called me and we spoke of the issues I was having. He had the pictures updated for future buyers. It is nice in this day in age when companies still listen to there customers. Buds continues to offer the best prices around and cares about the customer. Pistols arrived very clean unlike other buyers. Bluing was beautiful. The guns slide to frame fit was incredible. Most Colts have a little wiggle room. Not these. They were like riding on rails with Zero sloop or wiggle room. Over all the guns are very nice And I highly recommend them and Buds. Buds/Patrick thanks for the Excellent customer service.

Been wanting a Colt...
Been wanting a Colt 1911 for a long time and am so glad I found this one. Came from the factory with kinda a funky smell and was a little dirty packed in plastic and oil. Nice blue Colt box, with excellent padding however. Cleaned it up when I got home and WOW what a beauty. Has the grooved frontstrap and flared magwell as another poster said. Grips and finish are beautiful, classic excellent craftmanship from Colt. They have really upped their game lately with their products espeically their 1911 line. I have had numerous Springfields(of which I am a big fan fwiw) and I must say that if I buy another 1911 in the near future it will be another Colt. Don't hesitate to buy one of the new series 80 1991A1 pistols, they are top notch. Buds was great as usual, A+! Thanks to Colt and Buds for great pricing on a great product.
