Its carbon steel frame and steel slide receive a classic blued finish, while the 5-inch National Match barrel supports precise, consistent shooting. Fixed 3-Dot Novak sights provide a familiar sight picture, and checkered rosewood grips offer a secure, comfortable hold. An ambidextrous thumb safety and beavertail grip safety provide positive handling control. The pistol includes magazines and a hard plastic case.

I have read a lot of negative things about this models fit and finish but bought it anyway and am so glad I did. Slide to rail is great, no rattling grip safety and the trigger is fine. I will definitely change the trigger but other than that I am very happy.

Ordered the se-a1 from...
Ordered the se-a1 from Buds. Smooth process as always. As for the Colt, mine came extremely tight with no rattle or loose parts. The finish is great as well. I might have been lucky. The trigger though is very gummy and does not break clean. Will need to swap the ignition parts. Overall though, its a beautiful gun with great roll marks. A must have for a 1911 collector.
