I have shot thousands...
I have shot thousands of rounds through this gun and I love it and the 38 Super. The white on the front sight came off with cleaning. But the gun is totally reliable and the bluing excellent. I bought this gun because I was attracted to a traditional 38 Super (i.e., not competition). If you haven't shot 38 Super you should give it a try, lots of fun and very accurate and easy to reload.

I traded one of these away several years ago and finally reacquired. I love my Colts and these newly manufactured pistols are the best in many, many years. Since the 60s IMO This one fits nice, even gluing, good trigger, good sights. Perfect gov't model and in super38. Get one if you can, pass down in family. One day they'll thank you.
