The Colt CCU Government Combat Unit is a full-size 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its stainless steel frame and matte black DLC-coated components provide a durable, corrosion-resistant finish suited to regular carry and training. The five-inch National Match barrel supports consistent accuracy, while Novak sights provide a clean sight picture. Custom G10 grips, 25 lines-per-inch checkering, an undercut trigger guard, and an upswept beavertail grip safety improve control during recoil. Front and rear angled slide serrations and an extended magwell support efficient handling and reloads. An ambidextrous extended thumb safety and Colt's Series 80 firing system add practical safety and handling features.

First I want to say,...
First I want to say, BUDS was great. Now for the bad. This gun is an absolute dumpster fire. Trigger was about 8 pounds, not very accurate, wavy machine marks on the top of the slide where the cocking serations are, magwell rattles like crazy after a couple hundred rounds. Really really want to have a colt 1911 as it is a piece of American history, but I have had too many issues with them. Do yourself a favor and buy a TRP, or hell even a Tisas would be put together better than this CCU
