The Colt Defender is a compact .45 ACP 1911 pistol built for discreet carry and dependable close-range performance. Its lightweight aluminum alloy frame and 3-inch stainless steel barrel help reduce carry weight, while the stainless steel slide and black Cerakote frame provide a durable two-tone configuration. The single-action, hammer-fired locked-breech system is paired with a 3-hole aluminum trigger, an upswept thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a Series 80 firing pin safety. Novak night sights provide a visible aiming reference in low-light conditions, and the black cherry G10 grips offer a secure, partially checkered hold. The pistol holds 7+1 rounds and includes two magazines.
