Description
Product Overview
The Colt Defender is a compact 1911 pistol designed for comfortable everyday carry and personal protection. This blemished Shooter's Model is new in the box and may exhibit a minor finish imperfection from manufacturing. Its lightweight aluminum frame and blued carbon steel slide create a practical two-tone configuration while keeping unloaded weight to approximately 24 ounces. A 3-inch barrel, single-action operation, 7+1 capacity, Novak sights, tactile G10 grips, and an upswept beavertail grip safety provide the familiar handling characteristics of a compact 1911.
Key Features
- Compact 1911 configuration with a 3-inch barrel for convenient carry
- Lightweight aluminum frame helps reduce carry weight
- Blued carbon steel slide provides the classic two-tone appearance
- Single-action operation with a frame-mounted manual thumb safety and beavertail grip safety
- Novak sights support quick, consistent sight alignment
- Tactile G10 grips provide a secure hold during recoil
The Colt Defender combines compact dimensions, lightweight construction, and classic 1911 controls in a carry-ready .45 ACP pistol.
