LOVE THIS PISTOL! To...
LOVE THIS PISTOL! To me, the GCNM has all the positives of the older Gold Cups and none of the negatives. The old GCs had that irritating sear spring depressor which used to make me think I needed 12 fingers to reinstall, and while the Elliason sight gives a good sight picture, the pivot pin has been a source of failure for a very long time. This new GC has the Bomar style rear sight and so far has been sturdy through a lot of ammo, both target grade and full power. The sight seems to be more rugged but holds its adjustment without complaint. The parts are closely fitted but you wont need a bushing wrench to take it down for cleaning. Slide to frame fit is good, as is slide to barrel. The finish is nice-not quite as nice as the old Gold Cups, but is pleasant to look at. The trigger is crisp and consistent, and I can one hole a target out to 15 yards, and not much bigger at 25. Not much take up and good on the overtravel. The grips are very nice double diamond wood, with good checkering on them. This is without doubt my favorite range pistol and seems rugged enough that it would not be out of line as a carry pistol either. The rear sights are very slightly rounded on the corners so it shouldnt snag on draw. This pistol takes everything I have fed it without a hiccup, and will feed empty cases from the magazine. I like the new style barrel ramp with the funny looking dimple-whatever that does, it does it well. Buds comes through again with a good product at a good price.

I ordered this Colt GCNM at 6 AM, April 16th. I picked it up at noon on the 17th.....amazing. This Gold Cup is outstanding in fit and finish. The Bud's folks are really on the ball shipping so fast. First purchase at...
First purchase at buds, pretty smooth transaction. Gun has a great finish.it comes with one 7 and 8 round magazine..after around 100 rounds the seven round mag started to not feed and issues with the slide not locking back on the last round. I bought a couple of wilson combat mags {also from buds} and have put around another 300 rounds through it failure free
