The Colt TALO Combat Unit Rail Gun is a duty-ready .45 ACP 1911-style pistol built with input from trainers Ken Hackathorn and Daryl Holland. It features a dual spring recoil system and Novak Night Sights to help you acquire and stay on target, paired with an undercut trigger guard and an upswept beavertail for a higher, more secure grip.

The weapon has...
The weapon has performed flawlessly through the first 500 rounds. Not a single malfunction of any kind. The safety was VERT stiff to engage so a little file fitting was necessary to get it to be optimized (still positive clicks but smooth and easily engaged). The magazine was difficult to insert past the mag release. Again a little file work and your fitting is complete. Great gun and a tack driver in capable hands

Outstanding! Tight slide to frame fit. Tight bushing. Crisp trigger. Crisp safety plunger. Flawless finish. Solid black trigger. 2017 production. 70 series model number and book, but 80 series safety system just like the Marine pistol. So far I'm two for two with the new Colt 1911s. While I love my 9mm Competition model, this one is a true heirloom!
