I purchased this Wiley...
I purchased this Wiley Clapp edition from Bud's in January 2020. After a lot of research and discussions with 1911 owners, this was my top of the line pick. I wanted a Colt! This model was unavailable elsewhere, and the price was right here. It arrived at my LGS promptly and all was as it should be upon inspection at the store. I have had it for over two years and have put a lot of rounds through it with no malfunctions whatsoever. It is the best shooting pistol in my small collection by far. Bud's treated me right, I give them (and the Colt) 5 stars.

This is my second go...
This is my second go around on this pistol. I ordered the same pistol couple years ago. I was disappointed because it had front slide serrations and picture did not. Long story short I had it out with buds about advertise the wrong pistol description. Buds offered to take the pistol back and refund my money in full even though I already excepted the transfer. I decided to keep the pistol and a few months later sold it too a family member. Now onto round two? I was pleased to receive my new pistol without front slide serrations but the down side is the other reviews are right. lot of play in the grip saftey mush trigger. these are things I can fix, but I shouldn't have to after paying $1200 for a pistol. Colts QC has gone down hill. All in all I'm happy with my pistol. I will say my previous Wiley clapp was a way better build. very tight pistol. I just couldn't get over the front slide serrations. The new one I received dose NOT have front slide serrations. So I'm happy about that. and as always Buds is awsome
