The CZ-USA 1911 A1 is a full-size .45 ACP pistol that modernizes the classic M1911A1 service pistol while retaining its proven single-action design. Its forged carbon steel frame and slide receive a Blue/Black finish, while the stainless steel barrel, tighter slide-to-frame and slide-to-barrel tolerances, and improved sight arrangement support dependable operation and practical accuracy. Checkered walnut grips provide a traditional appearance and secure handling. The pistol includes fixed three-dot sights, an external manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and two 7-round magazines.

Unlike many others, I will respect Bud's wishes and limit this review to just the gun, and not my interaction with Bud's. This is a great example of a full size GI 1911. The gun is very accurate and the fit and finish is tight. I had some issues in the first 50 rounds, but have not had any reliability issues in the next 150 that I fired, so this is likely just a break-in issue. Incredible value for a gun that is built in the Dan Wesson factory. These are no longer in production so I would highly recommend grabbing one while you can.
