I agree with all your...
I agree with all your reviews, but I also agree with the gentleman who complained about the G10 grips. They are way too aggressive for my wife and me, in fact after firing my wife refused to ever shoot it again. In a way that's a plus😏but my wife is my range buddy! So I am going to replace these grips. Now I can't find a tool to loosen the grip screws. If any of you know the correct tool size, please let me know. THANKS!!!\r \r John\r \r dsrtfox2001@yahoo.com

Ordered the Dan Wesson...
Ordered the Dan Wesson Specialist SS 5" on a Monday it showed up at FFL on Tuesday at 11 am so the shipping was excellent. As far as the pistol goes, fit and finish were excellent as expected, fired around 200 winchester white box with no failure to fire or eject. Very accurate but shooting a little left straight out of the box. Didn't bother to take down and clean before firing. DW magazines functioned without fail. Bought a Wilson Combat mag from the range after I shot and it is tough to work the slide stop on an empty mag. So far I would give it a 5/5, very happy with purchase.

My first DW fullsize...
My first DW fullsize 1911 was a 9mm Valor. Knowing i wanted a .45 I decided to go for the Specialist and that turned out to be an excellent decision. Fit, Finish and performance has been outstanding with no issues of any kind so far. Still in the break in period and would be surprised if anything untoward will occur. However, one significant issue has arisen with the four Dan Wesson 1911's I have and that is deciding which one I like the most.
