The Devil Dog Arms 1911 Tactical is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a heat-treated investment cast steel frame and a machined 4140 steel slide. Its 5-inch match-grade 416 stainless steel barrel is button rifled, double stress relieved, and fitted with a match-grade barrel bushing for dependable accuracy. Oversized front and rear slide serrations provide a secure grasp during manipulation, while 22 lines-per-inch front strap checkering improves control. A 3.5 to 4 pound trigger, aluminum three-hole trigger, and Kensight DFS fixed white-dot sights complete the practical tactical configuration. The pistol uses the traditional 1911 combination of a single-sided thumb safety and grip safety.

Does not like Wilson...
Does not like Wilson combat 1911 magazines the magazines won't go in properly and don't freely eject every know and then Manufactures make mistakes I guess I got bad one

I really like this gun...
I really like this gun so I'm leaving 5 stars but do beware that it has a breaking in period. Within the first couple magazines trying to use +P hollow points (the only ammo I could find at the time), I had a really bad jam where a live round was stuck in the chamber and the slide would not move. I had to force an ejection by putting the top of the slide against a table and putting my weight on it. Cleaned the gun and continued to have some more typical failure to ejects / stovepipe rounds. After cleaning it again and making sure there was no excess grease in the chamber, after about 100 rounds of regular FMJ the gun is doing great. I love the look and feel. The trigger pull is really nice and the groups I get with it surpass my Glock. I am loving the gun and hope the malfunctions are gone now that I've broken it in.
