Product Overview
The Doublestar DSC1911 is a full-size .45 ACP tactical pistol built around a fully forged 1911 design, including forged small parts. Its matte black finish, front and rear cocking serrations, tactical accessory rail, and 30 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing provide a durable and controllable configuration. The pistol uses a Series 70 fire-control design without a firing pin safety and is fitted with Novak three-dot sights and Ed Brown ambidextrous safeties. A nylon Doublestar carry case and one parkerized 8-round magazine are included.

Great 1911! Took it to...
Great 1911! Took it to a 4 day shooting school and put 1,000 rounds through it and it performed like a champ. By the end of the class, I was shooting nice tight groups. I would compare the Doublestar quality to that of a les baer, Wilson Combat or TRP...but only half the cost.
