The DPMS Kitty Kat is a compact AR-style pistol chambered in .300 Blackout and built around a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set. Its 7.5-inch chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel uses a pistol-length direct-impingement gas system and a 1:8 twist rate. A 4-inch free-float handguard, fixed front sight gas block, and A1 rear aperture sight provide a practical configuration for close-range use. The forged upper receiver includes a forward assist and dust cover, while the mil-spec bolt carrier group features a Carpenter 158 steel bolt, a chrome-lined carrier, and a properly staked gas key. A CAR-style blade pistol brace, polymer A2-style grip, and mil-spec fire control group complete the black hard-coat anodized package.
